Welcome to OzInDi Radio Australia (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the OzInDi Radio Australia mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

OzInDi Radio Australia is a 100% non-for-profit, ad-free, community-driven digital radio station. We are dedicated to broadcasting original music and creative media in compliance with all relevant Australian licensing bodies. OzInDi Radio Australia holds current licenses with APRA AMCOS and PPCA, which authorise us to broadcast music legally across Australia.

2. Use of the Service

The App provides streaming access to OzInDi Radio Australia’s live radio programming, as well as optional features such as the HypeChain Top 10.

• The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

• You agree not to reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content without prior written permission.

• While we strive to provide uninterrupted access, we make no guarantees regarding uptime, uninterrupted availability, or error-free service.

3. Content Ownership and Licensing

All music and audio content broadcast via the Service remains the property of the respective artists, songwriters, or rights holders. Our broadcast is legally licensed through APRA AMCOS and PPCA, ensuring that artists are properly supported.

The OzInDi Radio Australia brand, logo, and associated creative works are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use these materials without written permission.

4. App Permissions and Local Features

The App is designed to respect your privacy and uses only essential permissions to deliver functionality:

• Local Notifications: Requested only if you choose to receive reminders for your favourite shows or updates. Notifications are managed entirely on your device.

• Local Area Network (LAN) Access: Requested so the App can discover and connect with Chromecast devices, such as Smart TVs and smart speakers, allowing you to broadcast OzInDi Radio content to external devices.

• HypeChain Top 10: All voting and data for this feature are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

5. Third-Party Links

The App may occasionally reference third-party platforms (e.g., artist websites or social media). These links are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of those external services.

6. Non-Profit and Ad-Free Commitment

OzInDi Radio Australia is committed to remaining non-profit and free from commercial advertising. Any donations, sponsorships, or community support initiatives go directly toward covering licensing, streaming, and operational costs.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• uninterrupted or error-free access,

• compatibility with all devices, or

• availability of all features at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OzInDi Radio Australia, its volunteers, contributors, and partners shall not be liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the App. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
