Regional Theaters Adopt Live Streaming | Music News
Thanks to technology, many Regional Arts Centres such as the Mildura Arts Centre have found a solution to the devastating impacts caused by COVID 19 by implementing live streaming technology to bring the virtual world of concerts into our living rooms while also creating much needed employment for local performers.
Arts, Culture and Development Manager at the Mildura Arts Centre, Antonette Zema, and her team of staging technicians, stream weekly live entertainment to continue providing an arts program to the local community.
“Our main focus is to support those local artists in our communities and to provide an outlet for them to still continue with their passion, have a gig, but also earn some money at the same time,” Ms Zema said.
