King Gizz Withdraw From Bluesfest: What Happens Next? | Music News
One of the biggest bands in the country have withdrawn from one of the biggest festivals in the country, because one of the most infamous bands in the country were added to said festival. Let’s unpack it all.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have pulled out from Byron Bay’s Bluesfest after the festival announced the addition of controversial group and the “bad boys of Australian music” Sticky Fingers to their line-up. Their place on the line-up, and this characterisation by Bluesfest, was criticised on social media, following past allegations of threatening and abusive behaviour levelled at frontman Dylan Frost.
