Andy Martin is a Brisbane/Meanjin based solo artist and school teacher who’s spent the last few years building both a solid fanbase and a fantastic catalogue of indie rock. So far, Andy has shared the stage with acts like The Rubens, The Vanns, Ben Lee and The Central Coast’s own The Moving Stills.
In this episode of Homebrewed, Andy Martin dials in from the sunshine state to chat about his latest release, Exactly Where I’m Supposed to be, juggling teaching and touring, the perils and pitfalls of streaming models + a bunch more.
Andy is kind enough to pull back the curtain on operating and trying to make a living as an artist in this one, so keep an ear out for that insight.
