
Splendour Caught In A Lie Regarding U18 Ticketholder Rules? | Music News
We have an update regarding last week’s story. Last week Splendour announced that 11th-hour changes being enforced by the NSW Police would see patrons of the Byron Bay music festival under the age of 18 unable to attend without adult supervision. Much of the discussion was around the lateness of the announcement from Splendour, which came from a last-minute change to their license by the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority.
However, new information sourced by The Guardian Australia has revealed that Splendour was aware of the position of the ILGA more than a month ago.
