Characters – Follow the Feeling

Characters is the mesmerising, difficult-to-define project of Benjamin Myer Welch and Alistar Karl-Crooks. Born on the Central Coast, Characters only exists thanks to both men upending their lives to create music together based solely on a gut feeling.

Their output so far vindicates that call. They've released three tracks to the public and have dozens more to share. What we've heard to this point is unique, sophisticated and dripping in creative chemistry.

In this episode of Homebrewed, Eamonn goes deep with Ben and Al, exploring the unlikely forces that put them in a room together, the processes through which they've created their music, and the unbridled enthusiasm and ambition that they're channeling into Characters.
